:: Open Water Diver course ::

The PADI Open Water Diver Course is the world’s most popular diver course leading to the level of “autonomous diver”.
At our international PADI diving school you are taught by a professional PADI diving instructor in your own language. Upon successful completion of this course you will be granted the PADI Open Water diver certification, your passport to all unlimited diving adventure all over the world. All over the world a PADI diver is recognized as a professionally trained self supportive diver.

The PADI Open Water is world wide recognized to:
- Rent or buy diving equipment whenever, wherever.
- Take part in organized diving trips
- Continue your education for higher level of certification.

You will never loose your license! For the rest of your live you are a autonomous certified diver allowed to make dives to a max. depth of 18m.

TO TAKE PART
To take part in an Open Water course you have to be at least 10 years old. Although there is no max. age, you do need to be healthy, in a good condition.

JUNIOR OPEN WATER DIVER
The Open Water course is a family program…for young and old! However, although the young children
follow the same course as adult students, for safety reasons their certification is limited. After successful completion of this course kids from 10 to 14 years old get the PADI JUNIOR Open Water certification. This junior certification limits our youngest divers in depth and obliges them to dive with a certified parent/ guardian or a professional guide.

This certification automatically chances into the ‘normal’ Open Water license when they turn 15 years old.

THE TIME IT TAKES
The complete course takes 4 to 5 days. Most of this time is spend on the beach where non diving company is welcomed to come along!

TIP!
If you order your course materials at the same time you make a reservation for your course, you get a big discount on these materials!

RESERVE YOUR COURSE ON TIME!!
Reserving your course on time does not only guarantee that you get your course on the dates you whish, it also guarantee that we have all student materials in your own language! Studying diving in your own language makes learning easy and fun!!

START AT HOME!
The Open Water course follows the Open Water Manual, your text book. This book is written for both kids and adults and is easy to read. However, reading does take time. Therefore, as your instructors, we advise you to make a start with this material already before you go on holiday. With children this is very important. Having read the manual and seen the instructional DVD prior to the diving holiday saves the students from having to study under the hot Cretan sun! ...and allows for some relaxation when not diving!

With this in mind we offer those candidates that book their course and order their student materials on time, to send them their materials by post. Charging no extra costs except the shipping costs, we send you the materials in the language you prefer.
